Attorney D.E. Brower, Jr. has personally handled over 4,000 personal injury and wrongful death cases during his career. He has over thirty years of civil litigation experience. Mr. Brower grew up mostly in Ada, Oklahoma, but also lived with his family in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Fremont, California. He graduated from Ada High School where he was the junior class and senior class president. He attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and East Central State College in Ada, Oklahoma. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from East Central State College in 1971, majoring in business administration and minoring in economics. In 1975 he received a Juris Doctor Degree from Oklahoma City University. He presently lives in Yukon, Oklahoma, with his wife, Niki. They have four grown daughters.
He has been admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court of the Western District; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit; and all seventy-seven County District Courts for the State of Oklahoma. He is a member in good standing of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Insurance Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. In addition to his active and current Oklahoma Bar Association license that he has held since 1975, he has held an active and current Oklahoma Insurance Adjuster license since 1971.
He worked for Farmers Insurance Group as a claims adjuster from 1971 to 1980, and as a legislative representative from 1980 to 1982. He then worked for a prominent Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, personal injury law firm, Manners and Abney, from 1982 to 1988. He has practiced law since 1988 as a sole practitioner.
Mr. Brower has many hobbies and activities, some of which are playing golf and playing the guitar; he has held a private pilots license since 1970. Because of his interest in plants, he attended Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, while still practicing law full time. In 2005 he was awarded the Certificate in Horticulture Technology, and in 2006 he received the degree of Associate of Science in Horticulture Technology.
